Closed. Now a corner shop.

A tired old boozer. Good for collecting dust.

Old Boots left this review about The Post Office

Another basic boozer on the northern edge of the city centre, the inside hasn't been over-modernised and still has the air of a Victorian corner pub. The counter runs at an angle across a corner of the front room, there is another bar at the rear, the bar back is crudely tiled. Traditional furnishings of bench seating, round tables with chairs and stools. The walls are panelled but are painted cream and have mirrors set into them, the bar counter also has mirrors in it. Needless to say the beer is all keg, largely from the Tetley's stable. A group of middle aged men took up one end of the bar counter, mainly so they could see the TV placed over the front door. A few more middle aged men sat by themselves around the room. Possibly they become more animated for the Saturday night Karoke.
