Always worth a call must have the most uneven floor in a pub always a good hand pull on and nice type of customers to chat too

A small pub wedged in buildings opposite Central Station that would quickly fill up.

Very old fashioned and good for it, two drinking areas, the small bar at the front and a further seating area at the rear with a telly of the same scale. Mersey beat piped music plays whilst you drink one of the 4 real ales.

Nice place, welcome to Liverpool.

This is a proper pub with its characters that work and drink here. If you call when it's busy, there's no problem getting served as the two scouse barmaids really know what they're doing. I had the Black Sheep, which was spot on. Will defo return.

Traditional 2 roomed pub in the 2011 Good Beer Guide with a sloping floor as an interesting feature. Very busy but close to main shopping area. Enjoyed our Caledonian Over the bar.

a small friendly pub noted for its sloping floor and wrinklies, at least I wasn't the youngest person in the pub last visit. No surprises in the beer range available, all very, very well kept but largely national or regional names. About half a dozen handpumps and a few normal kegs. The staff may be old but they are very good at bar work. They also keep the place spotless and can handle any scallys who wander in. Always an interesting pub to visit and definitely one to treasure.

This is a fine old pub in the middle of a sea of newness. A small front bar leads up a fairly steep slope, through to a smaller snug at the back which seats about 8. There's a plaque on the wall in the snug commemorating the inaugural meeting of Merseyside CAMRA which was held here in 1974, there can't have been many of them, there isn't room. It's a proper locals pub in the city centre but all are welcome. I had a pint of O'Hanlons Yellowhammer which was very good, it's good pub.
