Locals pub in Woolton with a choice of 3 real ales. Landlord & Wainwright are the regular beers. The guest beer was White Rat.
A handful of customers were in, along with a dog that was wandering around the pub. The barmaid seemed a bit sullen and cash payment is required unless you spend £5 or more.
This was my first visit to this place, but I must say that I prefer the nearby Gardeners Arms.

A pleasant pub at the top end of Quarry Rd. 4 handpumps dispensing Peerless Pale, Wainwright's, Tim Taylor Landlord and Doom Bore. An open plan place with a raised area to the right of the entrance. Pasties were provided free on this visit which was nice. A good friendly pub.
