Aqualung . left this review about The Jolly Brewers

This pub is slightly isolated and so with the attractive front garden it looks a bit like a country pub. As noted below there are rooms to the left and right of the entrance although I thought the right room looked as much a lounge as a restaurant. I went in the left room where there was a music soundtrack playing and the TV was off. The ceilings are low and the beams have been painted in a light olive green. There were a couple who had eaten but most people had opted to sit out in the garden.
There are five hand pumps plus one dedicated to cider. The five beers were GK IPA & Yardbird, Milton Dionysus, Lord Conrad's Lobster Licker and St Austell Proper Job. I went for the Lobster Licker which was in good nick.
I thought this was a very pleasant place.

Bucking Fastard left this review about The Jolly Brewers

An old building but with a modern internal refurb, there are two distinct rooms, bar to the left and restaurant to the right. The bar is the smaller room with oblong wooden tables,a flatscreen turned off and it's own serving access onto the island bar.The restaurant wraps around the other side of the building and has a wood burner but rather corporate dining tables and chairs with not a lot of interesting decor.I was in for a brief lunch and was impressed by a very good jacket with tuna mayo and a fresh salad (£5.95).There is a lunchtime snack menu,a list of daily specials and an a la carte selection and clearly the food is a major draw with food themed night advertised around the restaurant.
At the bar there was a choice of 5 real ales,GK IPA with a north/south dispense method,Elgoods Cambridge Bitter,Shepherd Neame Rudolphs Reward,Milton Dionysus and Pegasus (well kept). There will always be some Milton brews at the bar,and the GBG 2015 listing seemed appropriate. There are chalets at the rear along with a small beer garden with a wooden childrens fort.Despite the lack of pub atmosphere, I thought this was a decent spot for a pint and a meal and I would happily return for either or both.
