Alan Winfield left this review about Sir Humphrey Chetham

This Sir Humphrey Chetham was a decent looking pub that was on the busy ashton new road.
Once inside the pub had been opened out into one room that had different drinking areas, this room was very smart and comfortable with carpets and normal tables and chairs.
The pub was a Whitbread tied house and there were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Whitbread Chesters bitter and this was a very nice drink the other beer was Whitbread Trophey.
The pub was quite busy with a decent mix of customers and i was quite happy having a drink in here.
This pub is still standing but it has been converted into a couple of grotty looking shops, what a waste of a decent pub.
