Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Ship Inn

Compact JW Lees canalside pub almost retaining two rooms (one with a comfortable and traditional lounge area, the other being home to the pool table and thus quite basic), although they have been slightly opened out to allow a single bar counter to span between the two. Just the standard Bitter (£3.00, and a decent enough pint) on one of the three handpumps, with the keg version also noted on one of the numerous keg taps.

ROB Camra left this review about The Ship Inn

A very nicely decorated locals local right on the canal. Pool table in a room to the left and a comfortable lounge area to the right. There's an area for smokers out the back on the canal towpath which would be great in summer. Unforunately it was late autumn. Only Lees Bitter available on handpump, but this was a decent pint. The locals were a little standoffish when I attempted to engage them in conversation, so I sat down and read The Metro. It's a neat little pub and one I wouldn't mind calling in again.
