Steve C left this review about Orion Inn

The Orion is a Holts run pub with a vault bar that houses a dartboard and jukebox to the left and a lounge bar to the right. During a recent Monday evening visit there was some background music playing whilst muted League One football played on the televisions throughout. The usual Holts keg was available and the three hand pumps across the two bars were all badged with Bitter. Out the back is a large beer garden that was very busy due to a bit of Manchester sun. The service was polite. I’d be an infrequent visitor here if I lived locally.

The Orion Inn is a short walk from the busy wilmslow road.
Once inside there were two rooms and i had a drink in the bar which was a fairly nice room
The pub is a fairly small corner pub and when i first went in this pub it was a Whitbread tied house and there were two real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Whitbread Trophey bitter and this was a decent drink the other beer was Boddingtons bitter.
On my second visit to this pub it had been taken over by Joseph Holts and there were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Holts bitter and this was a very nice drink the other ber was Holts mild.

Pub first visited 4/4/1993
