Alan Winfield left this review about Black Swan

The Black Swan is a large pub that is situated on the busy Stapleton Road.
Once inside the bar faces is what is now a large single room which runs the width of the pub, there is a wood floor, there are tall tables and chairs opposite the bar, plus a space Invaders table, which was in working order.
There is a small raised area to the left which has normal tables and chairs, there is a pool table to the far left which is down some steps.
There were no real ales on the bar or keg bitters,so i had a half of Kronenburg 1664,which was a decent enough drink on a very warm day.
Background music was playing and the pub was reasonably busy on my Saturday afternoon visit.
This is not really my type of pub.

Vast pub, three bars, three music zones, food, amazing child friendly beer garden and an eclectic customer base, the Black Swan in not so much a pub as an experience. At weekends it comes to life as on of Bristols premier nightclubs. Music policy is somewhat eclectic, this is a place to visit for new friends and fond memories. Oh and the food is excellent as well, The Jerk Chicken really flys out of the kitchen!. Take your ears on holiday, give this place a visit!
The Black Swan is less of a pub and more of an experience.
