ROB Camra left this review about Middleton Archer

A one roomer with a function room to the rear left. It looks like an estate pub on the inside, but it's on the edge of Middleton town centre. It's all nicely decorated in a non-descript sort of way. A mix of shoppers and regulars on my Friday afternoon visit. Two handpumps, both badged with Lees Bitter, which was a decent pint at £3.15. It's a bit bland, but I'd call in again.

A friendly enough 2 roomed pub. The main lounge area is L-shaped and has two handpumps on the bar both dispensing JW Lees Bitter. An outside patio and grassed area has a view over a roundabout. A strange looking sculpture also adorns the exterior wall.
