Steve C left this review about Weavers Rest

The Weavers Rest has some banquette seating in the front right window and a bar counter that runs up the right wall to a dartboard at the rear. Only standard keg is available. In the front left is a raised seating area and at the rear is a pool table. Televisions are found throughout, but only one was on showing a daytime quiz during my late afternoon midweek visit. The service was polite, but if I was a weaver I wouldn’t be resting here.

Now going under the name of The Weavers Rest. Standard pub which was empty on this Saturday afternoon visit. Lots of tellies showing, bizarrely, Gaelic Football. And this on a day when there is proper football AND some rugby nonsense at Wembley involving Wigan! Still its a rubbish place. No real ale.

ROB Camra left this review about The Last Orders

Quite smart for a Last Orders. Pool table & dartboard in the rear room. There's a raised area to the left as you enter and a small room to the right. The rest of the pub is aimed at vertical drinking. There's a sign that says that there is a function room upstairs, but I didn't get to see this. No real ale of course, so I had a half of Fosters which was £1.10. Most of the clientele on my Friday late afternoon visit looked like they'd just finished work for the day. It's a reasonable enough pub, but there's nothing here for a real ale fan like me, so I won't be bothering again.
