This is on the verge of being closed. It looks closed from the outside, but the door was open and so I went in. No customers and the barmaid was clueless. I asked for a 1/2 of Carling as there was little else available. She said "£2 please" I pointed out that the most I had paid all day was £1.20, so she gave me 50p back. There's a pool table to the right and several other areas, all empty of course. Still some Xmas decorations up in one area. This could be a really good pub, but it isn't, it's a total mess.

The Grove is a decent looking pub and it was also quite a nice pub inside,i had a drink in a fairly smart and comfortable lounge.
When i visited this pub it was a Wilsons tied house and there was one real ale on here this was Wilsons bitter and this was a nice drink.
I thought this was a fairly decent pub.
