The Dog and Partridge is an L-shaped pub with seating across the front and up the right hand side faced by the bar. I counted four handpumps, two of which were unused leaving TT Landlord and Brightside Maverick as the cask options Premium keg is also available alongside Carlsberg. A Pieminister menu is available for food, a pie and two sides is under £10. There’s at least one television for showing Sky Sports, which was muted and some background music was playing. I found the service to be polite and thought the surroundings were very comfortable. I’d pop back in if passing.

Handsome traditional pub, with TT Landlord in good condition. I didnt even notice it was GK. Which is unusual.

A fine, brick built, traditional pub, right in the centre of Didsbury. It's owned by Greene King, but there was only 1 of their beers on the bar. It's an L shaped pub with plenty of bric-a-brac along with 2 small TVs and a quiz machine. I used to visit here years ago when a mate of mine lived on Barlow Moor Road. I'm pleased to report that it's hardly changed since then. I had a pint of Shefford Plum Mild which was in good nick and promptly lost a couple of quid on the quiz machine. It's still a very good pub.

A nice pub with 8 handpumps on the bar. Timothy Taylor takes up 2 with guests on the others. Has an interesting picture puzzle for you strokey beards at the side of the bar. Can you see the '101 cask ales' within the picture?

The Dog and Partridge is situated fairly close to the busy crossroads in the main shopping area of didsbury.
Once inside the pub had a couple of rooms and i had a drink in the room at the front which was fairly smart and comfortable, when i went in this pub it was a Greenalls tied house and there were three real ales on the bar i had a drink of Davenports bitter and this was a nice drink the other beers were Greenalls bitter and mild.
This was a pleasant enough pub to have a few drinks in.
