Steve C left this review about The Blue Bell

The Blue Bell is a large JW Lees pub with a car park to the right and a large decked seating area out the front partly covered by two jumbrellas. An A-board by the entrance advertises weekly quizzes on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The L-shaped bar, over to the right rear of the entrance, supports a standard and premium keg range as well as a bank of four and a bank of two handpumps. JW Lees Bitter and MPA were both available. Food is available, in fact this is primarily a food pub, but I think that kitchen was shut during my visit last Wednesday evening. I found the staff to be friendly.

Alan Winfield left this review about The Blue Bell

The Blue Bell is a fairly large pub that has got a brewers tudor upper half.
Once inside the pub had two rooms that i noticed,i had a drink in a decent sized lounge which was quite smart and plush.
The pub was an ex Wilsons house, but there were no Wilsons beers on the bar,i had a drink of Theakston Best which was drinkable but nothing special, the other beer was Courage Directors.
This was a decent enough pub to go in while on my crawl round this area.
