Acres Inn is a tidy backstreet pub that had a friendly local crowd in during a recent midweek evening visit. In the right side of the pub is a lounge bar with bar counter on the left wall facing seating opposite. At the rear some steps lead up to an oval shaped banquette seating area. The vault to the left has a dartboard and more banquette seating that was half full of people watching the darts on Sky Sports. This is a neutral pub with both United and City gubbins on the walls. The lack of anything other than standard keg will put some off, but I liked it in here and would revisit.

The Acres Inn is a nice looking white painted pub that is set in the back streets just south of the middle of Denton.
Once inside i went in a nice smart room that was carpeted and was quite comfy,the room was fairly busy with a decent bunch of locals.
When i went in this pub it was a Whitbread tied house and there were two real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Whitbread Bentleys bitter which was a decent enough drink the other beer was Boddingtons bitter.
I was quite happy having a drink in this pub.
