Has reopened as a Turkish restaurant, so now probably lost as a pub forever, as I guess it will now get more custom in this guise as it ever got as a high street pub, especially with the 'Spoons further up the road now the dominant drinking venue on Palmers Green high Street.

Then closed again in January 2009 and reopened again in June 2009 when they found someone to have a go at running it.
Sadly, this new incarnation didn't last and the place is shut again with a large For Let sign outside.
Looks like they are trying to find someone to take it over as a going concern but at the present it is closed.

Former Wetherspoon pub, serves good range of guest beers at cheaper than average prices, and the normal Wetherspoon type food. There's a no smoking area and a family area. Interesting prints of old Palmers Green on the walls. Friendly efficient staff.
