When I passed this pub today it had a large To Let sign pinned to it. I've always got the impression that this is less of a pub but more of a shrine to THFC with all the attendant boorishness and lack of real ale.

It's another Enterprise disaster so I wouldn't be surprised to see it go down. This postal area is becoming a pub desert and I vowed never to go back to the Spoon's Gilpin Bell after a couple of disasterous visits.

I have only visited the Crown and Anchor on match days as it is far enough away from White Hart Lane to avoid being uncomfortably rammed like boozers closer to the ground, and it is a well run pub and you usually get service with a smile.
No real ale though, and just the usual standard fiz tap offerings. Bit of a sports themed one bar pub as Steve describes well below with plenty of sports associated flags and pennants inside. And I believe the Guvnor must have some affinity to Rangers (the Scottish version), as the exterior of the pub is usually decked out with a large Tottenham – Rangers flag on match days.

Apart from the limited draught selection and lack of real ale this place has everything you need from a pub with its pool table, dart board, plasma screen showing Sky Sports and friendly efficient governor. Outside the back door there is a covered decked area that leads to a small car park that has had some more tables put into it.

This place was a godsend as I visited on a very hot and humid afternoon and all the doors were open allowing a lovely warm breeze to blow through.

This is a good pub with a relaxed atmosphere and I would go back if in the area again.
