The Dockers Inn is an L-shaped pub with seating down the left and a central bar counter that faces high tables, and also booth seating across the front windows. For some reason large televisions above the fireplaces on the left and right walls were playing roaring log fire loops. The actual fireplaces were full of logs. Out the back is a ‘secret garden’ that I didn’t visit due to the rain. Upstairs are rooms available for rent. There’s no real ale here, only premium and craft keg. Food is available, the bar menu was in operation during my visit, the cheesy chips were priced at £5.50. The service was friendly, but this pub is very forgettable and I’m not sure any self-respecting stevedore would be seen dead in here.

A refurbed and modernised corner pub, an L shaped room with mixed seating as described by Tris. Keg only with some normal stuff along with Beavertown and Camden beers, which I guess are pretty normal themselves nowadays.
Despite the friendly service I can't forsee a return visit.

Originally an early Victorian pub called the White Swan, this was rebuilt in a slightly different location, probably in the 1930s, the recent former name of White Swan & Cuckoo dating from around 1990, the current name arriving at some point during Lockdown.
This had been a rather basic locals’ pub, but with a change of name comes a hipsterfied partial grey exterior, then an interior with a modern partitioned bar back, modern boarded floor, wasabi paint scheme and ceiling, upholstered booth-style banquettes, some more conventional furniture and one or two barrel tables with tall chairs. There are two bare brick fireplaces painted grey, with log infill for decorative purposes, with further décor in the form of black and white prints of the area from yesteryear, two TVs with a rolling slideshow of planet Earth from space or an aerial view of Dubai and a few nautical references, given the new name and proximity to the former docks; bored games are available. Customers were just four including me, when every other pub in the area was at capacity.
There’s no real ale here, with a Neck Oil coming in a £3.10 a half, served by a very friendly barmaid: ‘Cheers babes!”.
This place seems to have gastro pretensions, but isn’t a gastropub, serving mainly burgers or ‘wings’. It’s ok for a drink if all you want is a Neck Oil at a rather reasonable price, but every other pub in the area offers a superior experience and real ale.

Friendly locals pub - that has a traditional exterior but modernised with American Booth style seating along the window.

I didn't notice any (decent) cask, so went for a Camden Hells.

A change from the more touristy places in the area.

I was in for an early evening visit at the end of March, a couple of weeks after Malden Man below and cannot really add anything as my findings were exactly the same. This is a basic, no frills locals’ corner pub and it was good to find it very busy with a mainly male after work local crowd. I don’t think you will find many of the new residents of the £2Million plus penthouse flats in the renovated Wharf buildings by the river will be using this one as their local, and for that reason alone I hope it survives the gentrification taking place along Wapping High Street.
Only the ubiquitous Doom bar on the Ale front, but I guess chilled Lagers and Guinness are the main beverages moved here.

An attractive looking pub with the name set in a stone tablet in the wall, looks well appointed too. Inside is rather less appealing being more modern and without any obvious original features. A large L-shaped room with a pool table at the end furthest from the bar, boarded around the bar area but carpeted elsewhere. Wood panelled walls, painted, fireplaces each end at the front which are painted brickwork but have a sailing ship motif inlaid. There is a distinct locals feel to the pub and a few blokes were engrossed in the racing being shown on a pair of TVs, the bookies is just down the road.
They do a real ale now even if it is the ubiquitous Doom Bar but it was in fair shape at £1.80 a half. Food served, I don't know to what extent but the windows advertise Hot Salt Beef Beigels.... very East End. A bit of a garden to the rear probably completes the required information, I popped my head in here a few years ago when there was no real ale and the place was a sofa and mirrors kind of place, it isn't the greatest pub around but it has stepped up considerably and as a local it is probably just what the punters want.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The White Swan & Cuckoo

Refurbished East End boozer, with an 'L'-shaped bar and a pool table. Obviously trying to move a bit upmarket but still basic in term of furniture and decor. Just Doom Bar (£3.60) on handpump.

From the outside this has the look of an excellent pub, with the name of the pub set in stone on the side wall. So, it hasn’t gone in for name changes then. Inside it’s a bit different; there were some sofas on the right, and some normal tables and chairs on the left. The food menu was on a board on the pavement outside, consisting of staples such as pie and chips, and looked to be very reasonably priced. But there was no real on; in fact no handpumps on the bar giving the possibility that at some time they might have some on. Without any real ale on it’s not the sort of place I would frequent.
