Alan Winfield left this review about The Lord Tredegar
The Lord Tredegar is a decent sized pub that can be easily spotted from mile end road.
The pub looked closed from the outside, dont be put off by this, try the door like i did.
Once inside the bar faced in a very narrow area which had very comfortable bench seating and small wood stools, there was a small area to the rear left which had a few tables and wood stools, but to my surprise there was a large wall map of the world on the right wall to proper scale, once through this small area there was a conservatory which had a stone floor and lots of normal tables and chairs, this area was quite busy with younger people dining, thre was an open kitchen to the right of this room.
There were four real ales on the bar i had a drink of Sharps Own which went down very well, the other beers were Doom Bar,Fullers Bengal Lancer and London Pride.
There was some pretty decent background music playing.
This was in my opinion a very nice pub to have a drink in,the front area seemed pretty much unaltered, with a modern rear area, there was also an outisde paved area with picnic tables for the warmer months.
All in all a very nice pub,my pub of the day.
Ime very surprised that no Londeners have visited this pub yet.
