Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Horns Tavern

Given its prime position by the station and the very imposing St Luke's Church, this remains much more of a old-fashioned boozer than one might expect (to the extent that it retains completely separate public and saloon bars). Both rooms feature traditional (verging on dull) furniture and decor, with a pool table in the former and rather dominant sports TV screens in the latter. Also has a few tables out on the side alleyway. Thankfully, still does real ale, albeit just Doom Bar and Bombardier (£3.50) from the various handpumps on the two counters.

The Horns Tavern is situated at the top end of West Norwoods shopping street and is almost opposite West Norwood train station.
Once inside the pub has two separate rooms, the bar room to the right was empty and had a pool table in it,i had a drink in the lounge to the left which is on two levels due to the hill the pub is on,this room seemed quite comfortable with it being carpeted and having comfy bench seating and chairs and a couple of tall tables and stools.
There were two real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Doom Bar which was a decent enough drink, the other beer was Bombardier.
The lounge was quite busy on my Saturday dinner visit, background music was playing and the TV was showing football
I thought this was a smart and comfortable locals pub.
I quite liked this pub.

It's been a few years since I've popped my head into this pub, and I have to say there's been some improvement. There are now a couple of real ales available - Bombardier and Doom Bar. Not the most exciting selection, but a lot better than the two unused handpumps that used to be case. There was no sign of food being available on my Saturday morning visit.

This pub still has two completely separate rooms with their own doors to the street, as well as a now largely disused jug and bottle bar in between them that has effectively been subsumed into the Saloon Bar and seems to be used for the production of hot drinks and sandwiches. The Saloon Bar is a fairly small room, is carpeted, has a few normal tables and chairs and tall tables/tall stools, and has a door leading from it to a bit of outside seating above the railway line.

The Public Bar is a bit plainer, and is the larger of the two rooms. There's very little in the way of furnishings in here, and has a pool table at the back. This pub has changed little since I first visited it over 50 years ago. I quite like it in a sort of nostalgic way, despite the limited ale selection. It remains a real locals' pub.

This is a two bar pub with a pool table, couple of plasma screens and a projector in the public bar and three plasma screens and a sandwich serving area in the other bar. Sky Sports was being shown throughout the pub during my week night visit, but it was muted as the ear bashing music being played at an excessive volume in the public bar was inescapable even in the quieter section.

The two hand pumps are unused and there is only a standard draught selection, but my Guinness was nice enough. I found the barmaid/landlady to be very brash, but the barman was nice enough and I had no problems with the boisterous locals.

I'll not be rushing back to this pub again.

No real ale on. Both pumps had London Pride clips turned round. No real ale on the last time I looked in as well.
