A Brewer's Tudor exterior with frontage seating leads through the door to a smallish front area with the bar and food servery ahead. To one side a semi-divided area takes you to a games room with pool and darts, a boarded floor and lots of rugs. The rear area is considerably larger and springs off in various directions. Wood panelling, old style lightbulbs above, various framed artifacts including a reclining nude, a river scene and a portrait of someone who looked like ex-goalie Peter Shilton. There are leaded windows, chandeliers and a large rooflight.
Real ales were from Gipsy Hill, Wandle and Truman's Runner. Real ales are £3 a pint on Thursdays.
A decent spot.

The White Horse is a nice looking black and white fronted pub.
Once inside there was a bar to the front, this room was oblong in shape the bar faced, there was a pool table and darts board to the right,i ordered my drink in this room but opted to drink in the lounge to the rear which looked quite smart and comfortable, this room was also oblonged shaped, there was comfy bench seating at each end of the room with normal tables and chairs in the middle.
There were two real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Harveys bitter which went down very well, the other beer was Doom Bar.
I thought this was a comfortable pub to drink in with a proper pub atmosphere.

They had just the two ales on – GKIPA and Adnam’s Bitter. Avoiding the GKIPA I went for the Adnam’s, which was OK and at a fairly reasonable £2.80 a pint. The food was served from a traditional hotplate on the bar counter, and it all looked to be classic pub grub to me – about half a dozen or so things like shepherd’s pie and two veg, and all at £6 as I recall.
This is a large main road pub, with a “Brewer’s Tudor” frontage. The front bar, which I guess would at some time have been the public bar, contained a pool table and furnishings consisting entirely of solid wooden high stools and tables. The room at the back, reached via a short corridor, is more comfortable, and although bare-boarded does have normal tables and chairs. The food counter is in this room, and just about everyone in here was eating during my midweek lunchtime visit. Behind this room is the large function suite, which had all the tables laid out for what looked like a wedding reception or something similar. There is some outside seating in a courtyard at the front of the pub, which was very pleasant on a sunny August afternoon. I don’t think I would recommend a visit to this pub, and certainly not for the beer choice, but it is OK for swift pint if you happen to be passing, and on the plus side the food on offer appeared to be homemade and wholesome. There are plenty of worse places in Peckham.
