I thought this pub was hard to find as it is hidden off the street through an archway.
Once inside the ground level bar was very busy and i thought this looked like a decent room to have a drink in,i went to the bar downstairs which was quieter and this room was just as nice.
There were four real ales on the bar i had a drink of Butcombe bitter and this was a very nice drink the other beers were London Pride, Everards Sunchaser and Deuchars IPA.
I quite liked this pub and would have happily stayed here longer.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Red Lion
Typical Nicholson's pub. Busy at street level, but worth looking downstairs if you want to sit down. OK pint of Thwaites Wainwright.
