A previously two-roomed incarnation now opened up in an L-shape with tiled bar apron and carpet to the right and bare boards to the left with a cosy-looking fireplace against the far left-hand wall. Ales were limited to Sharp's Doom Bar and Doom Bar Amber with a pint of the former in decent enough shape.
