Tris C left this review about The Imperial Arms

This is quite an imposing pub, Union Jacks flapping in the rain and dating from 1860, named after the nearby Imperial Gasworks.
This isn’t the good end of the King’s Road and it shows, being in Fulham rather than Chelsea. The interior is about as made over as it’s possible to imagine, being some sort of rococo pop art mashup: modern touches, black paint, crystal chandeliers, weird furniture and neon signs (see photos). There was loud rap music, containing the word ‘mother%&*!”?’ – and this is supposed to be a family friendly pub? Customers were predictable Fulham types, mainly in their 30s.
There’s no real ale of course, me plumping for a half of Beavertown’s Bones lager at a very stiff £3.50.
This very definitely isn’t my sort of place and I doubt it would find favour with any real pub afficionado.
