I L left this review about The Britannia

Went i here one Friday night before catching a train North and was pleasantly surprised by all five handpumps being in use with Fullers London Porter on oe of them. The place was very busy but service slick.

However on a return visit mid week in January things were very different, with plenty of staff but very slow service despite not many customers about and only two Fullers ales available. All the toilets were locked with a sign saying to use the station toilets next to platform 1. I didnt stay and went to the Doric Arch instead.
I just hope that was an off day rather than the December trip being a one off good day!!

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Britannia

I would start by saying that this is not the worst station pub in London (which might be considered as damning with faint praise...), with the balcony being a good spot when not crowded. It also serves mostly Fullers beers which have always been in good condition in my experience, usually with a couple of Greene King offerings such as IPA and OSH sharing the five handpumps. Prices range from £3.30 upwards, but as a Select Service Partner outlet this can be mitigated by 20% if you have a BITE card (with the downside being the inevitable "would you like some crisps or nuts with that?" script).

This is a station bar selling expensive short measured pints served in plastic cups by disinterested students – Never again.

An upstairs bar on Euston Station. Real ale on sale. Does get busy lunch & evenings. The balcony area is popular, so get there early if you want to sit down and watch commuters rushing for their trains. Food available all day.
