Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Hart

Big windows. High ceilings. Few customers. Less atmosphere. Odd layout, comprising an 'L'-shaped bar with sparse furniture and decor, a side area with ranks of nasty big red sofas facing a large TV showing sport, one table in a small opened-out area leading to the rear room housing a pool table, another sports TV but little else. Patio area out back. No real ale, so offered bottled Bulmers as a substitute! Limited choice of dull keg offerings, so opted for an overpriced bottle of Vedett Extra White (wit/blanche) at £3.70. Overall, another grim offering from the Bar Room Bar chain (which seems to specialise in such places).

Ghastly barn of a place with absolutely no character or atmosphere. OK if you can sit outside in the courtyard (until the 9pm curfew thanks to the killjoy neighbours)but otherwise somewhere to be avoided...as most people tend to do judging by the empty tables!

I swung by here yesterday lunchtime, as did about 30 students who were tucking into the stone baked pizzas. The front of the pub has high and low tables with couches by the large retractable doors which open the pub up to the busy main road. The back of the pub has a few huge couches and a couple of pool tables which give it a student rec room feel. They show Sky Sports, but there are better places to watch the sport in Hammersmith. The beer garden, which closes at 21:00, is quite small and is overrun by the surrounding bushes.

There is no real ale, but Kirin beer, Erdinger, Guinness, Carlsberg, Strongbow, Stella and Tetley Smoothflow were all available.

The toilets are rank and kick up a nasty smell. It always puts me off eating in an establishment if they can't be bothered to give the customer toilets a quick scrub.
