It's changed hands since K attended, but nothing much to add to K's account below. Beers currently Pride and Rebellion Smuggler, which wasn't at all bad. Very much a locals pub, but makes a handy break from the motorway.

Set back on a green from the A40 (former) trunk road that bisects the Buckinghamshire village of Stokenchurch, the Fleur is an attractive-looking building with the pub's named painted in a decorative flourish below the triangular centre eaves (that include a date - 1886). Internally, the layout is that of a square-shaped 'L', with the bar commandeering centre of the 'L' section you enter into. Interestingly there are two entrances from the adjacent car park, indicating that this once a two-roomed beast. To the right of the bar, a pool table resides along with the conveniences. A large flat screen TV hangs on the wall opposite the bar, meaning on occasion the bar area itself can get quite crowded. To the left, a large fireplace holds a board indicating the menu preferences of the week; the room then becomes dining-oriented with all tables and chairs, eventually snaking right back on itself to the kitchen entrance. A compact and tidy beer garden is located out back with swings and a slide for the kids. Ale-wise, of three handpumps, just GK Abbot Ale and Rebellion IPA were available, the latter coming in at £3.80 a pint. I don't mind Rebellion, but like TT Landlord, I feel it has to be kept just right to impart its goodness and this had a bit of a 'twang' to it. Heaving on a Saturday night for a 30th birthday celebration, the vibe is distinctly 'local', so unless you know the crowd, expect some stares.
