Graham Coombs left this review about Lincoln Arms

An ordinary and unmodernised town local with two sides round an island bar. Although quite small, it somehow squeezes in a pool table and two dartboards. There is an outdoor section at the back but it is not much more than a smoking area. Sadly no real ale despite the cask ale sign on the front: Banks's Amber and Mild were on keg plus the usual stuff.

The Lincoln Arms is a smallish pub that is next to the river Welland and is on the opposite bank to the Ye Olde White Horse.
Once inside the pub was quite basic and seemed pretty much unaltered,i had a drink in the room at the front this was basic but comfortable enough.
The pub had Mansfield signs outside and there were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Highgate Fury and this was a very nice well kept pint the other beer was Mansfield bitter.
This was a very nice pub and is the sort that are dissapearing fast.
