Komakino . left this review about Three Cups

Just off the centre of the town at the narrow beginning of Bridge Street, this is another bare-boarded single room (although there is a pool room served by a back bit of the bar out back). As you walk in the eye is taken by a selection of beer mats affixed to a beam, however a two-ale line-up of Sharp's Doom Bar and St Austell Tribute was a bit of a disappointment, despite how cheap (£3.30 a pint) and well-kept it was. A little rough around the edges, although perhaps more to do with the clientele than anything else, this is third-height panelled with white rendered walls and various bric-a-brac dotted around including horse brasses, china plates, tankards, old photos, cartoons, sporting trophies and some breweriana along with photos of the pubs of the town, past and present. The pub sign out front has three different-shaped cups with three dates - 1655, 1607 and 1791 - beneath each. I did ask, but the incumbents had no idea what they signified. Over to the next reviewer... (Original Review 30th May 2017)
