Alan Winfield left this review about The Ripon Arms

The Ripon Arms was a really nice looking pub with a cream painted lower half and bare brick upper.
Once inside the pub had two separate room with a basic bar and a smart and comfortable lounge,i have had a drink in both rooms and found the lounge to be very comfy.
The pub was a John Smiths tied house with no real ales on the bar,so it was a drink of fizzy John Smiths bitter.
It is a shame that they have pulled this down to be replaced by some ugly flats,is this progress!.

Will Larter left this review about The Ripon Arms

I was here in February 2002 for a beer or two before a Luton Town game at nearby Sincil Bank. The Ripon Arms was a basic back street local, with Batemans ales, as I recall. It was closed down in 2005 and there are now flats on the site.
