Komakino . left this review about Treehouse

Briefly named Treehouse another name change has seen The former Charles Dickens renamed Wayfinder's Retreat with an A-board out front stating "Pub, bar and the home of Beaconsfield's distillery" and drinks menus on the tables peddle various cocktails, guest gins and both cocktail and gin "masterclasses". The interior is wide on entrance, tapering as you walk into the building, with the bar centre-left. With the staff be-aproned, you'd expect the place to be ale-free. No so. Two handpumps offered Rebellion Near Miss and Old Rosie cider. The Rebellion was just £3.10 or a pint, as it's "happy hour every day until 9pm". There's some nice bric-a-brac in the form of new and old travel books on a low shelf over a couple of leather couches which have travel-based cushion covers on them. Novel, but nothing new but at least it's still clinging onto the pub bit.

Dave Everitt left this review about The Charles Dickens

A very traditional pub, one of two left in the town. Very pleasant.
