Quinno _ left this review about Nautical William

A multi-roomed flat roofed estate pub built in the 1950’s. Enter to a lobby with a pool room to the left and the bar straight on, with a function room behind and a sizeable garden out back. A hardcore Leicester City pub, the main bar has plenty of scarves, banners and pictures of the Foxes. Feared the worst when it became clear that there were no lights switched on and next to no heating on Boxing Day afternoon. Two pumps, Doom Bar (off) and Adnams Sloe Flake (a bit musty, NBSS 2). Just me and crisp-munching barmaid until we were joined by a local character called Munch, a fella of sunny disposition who accidentally gatecrashed the setting-up of a small child’s birthday party in the function room. The lack of light and heat (are margins that slim here?) meant that I wasn’t inclined to linger, but it’s certainly better in here than I initially expected.
