A rustic country inn with a small bar in the middle of the building, accessed via a small 'tea shop'-style anteroom and with a dining room hidden behind a large fireplace, and busy with unseen diners on a Sunday lunchtime. Two beers were on, both from the Fuller's camp - London Pride and HSB - the latter a little watery and steep at £2 for a half.
