Ga Andrews left this review about Swan Inn

Visited Sunday 18th Sept 2011 Lunchtime. Marston’s pub with 4 hand pumps, Marston’s EPA, Pedigree, Jennings Cumberland and the other had ran out!
This pub is a bit of a hike from the canal, but on entering we were welcomed by the Landlord, who’d had a busy morning with the Rugby watchers. There was quite a crowd of locals and although noisy it was a happy hum.
There seemed to be 3 rooms, bar, locals bar, and an area with a pool and skittles table, with the restaurant closed off. Food was advertised but they didn’t seem to be serving on Sunday.
It was modern white and beige colour interior, with modern chunky furniture. Modest decor of old boxing gloves, shoes, and stuffed foxes over the large fireplaces.
Garden just a grassed area but did have an outdoor skittles alley.
It was nice enough for the hour we enjoyed our Sunday afternoon pint. The village seemed very interesting with lots of walks around the area.
