The joiners Arms is a proper looking pub from the outside but once inside this is very much a gastro pub.
The pub has been knocked into one room but there is a wall dividing this into two seperate areas,all of the seating apart from two small tables with small stools near the front door are for diners and evey table was full of upmarket types having posh meals.
When we got into the pub we felt uncomfortable but the landlady said drinkers were just as welcome as diners but it still felt a bit awkward drinking in this pub.
There was only one real ale on here this was Sharpes Doom Bar this was drinkable but not at its best.
My brother noted that the meals were very expensive here this was probably because this pub is included in the 2012 Michelin guide.
This a definatly not a drinkers pub but at least we got this one done,if you do go there for just a drink there are only about four seats and two small tables so dont go here in a big group.
