Very packed (with locals) two room pub which opened out towards the back. Separate toilets. Nothing much real ale wise, I'm afraid.

A small traditional pub, with a small bar serving both sides. The pub had a relaxed atmosphere, no music, so good old conversation prevailed here. Two ales on, Marston's Pedigree and Marston's Bitter, I went for the Pedigree which was well kept. Local drinkers were playing cribbage on our visit and we found the young couple managing the pub to be friendly and chatty.

Touted as Loughborough's oldest pub, we played the Windmill as a joker on the way back to the station from the nearby 3 nuns. The pub is a Marstons house and served a really decent pint of Pedigree. We had to stand as the place was packed at around 7pm, doing a roaring trade in food. Nice to see a pub doing so well. Glad we popped in, great pub, well worth a visit.
