Alan Winfield left this review about The Plough Inn

The Plough Inn is a strange looking pub that is on the Northern side of Loughborough.
When i first went in this pub it was a Bass tied house.
The pub seems pretty much unchanged inside and the entrance up the steps is open again.
Once inside there is an L shaped room t the front which is carpeted, there is comfy bench seating and small stools to the rear left and rear of the room, there are normal tables and chairs to the front, there are two darts boards in this room on to the front left, the other to the rear left.
There is a smaller separate room to the rear which is oblong shaped, this room was quite busy with drinkers.
I sat in the front room which was reasonably busy.
there were two real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Bass, which went down well, the other real ale was Wadworth 6X.
I thought this was a decent and pleasant pub to revisit after many years.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Plough Inn

Curious-looking building, with the rear portion (which might have been a farm house at one stage) having the main door. The odd extension facing the road has another, apparently unused, entrance up a flight of steps. Also has two small brick outbuildings housing the outside toilets at the back, with the ladies being particularly prominent. Childrens' play area in a large grassed area behind the pub. Signage indicating former Bass and Bateman's ownership. Two bars, with three handpumps in the main one and two more in the room beyond. Local CAMRA Branch award and GBG 2011 listed. Available beers include Bass, Tetley's Dark Mild, Cumberland, and Hobsons Town Crier (£2.95).
