The Talbot is in the Belgrave area of Leicester and despite what looks like a semi-rural location, it's a bit of a dump.

We arrived to very loud music and shouting. The pub seems to have long since stopped serving real ale. The keg selection was Strongbow, Strongbow Dark Fruit, Carling, Fosters, John Smith's & Guinness.

Service was friendly enough. The toilets stank. Certainly not worth venturing out of Leicester for.
