Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Tap & Barrel

Newly reopened pub, formerly the Grapes, remodelled and refurbished by Artisan Tap as a modern-style alehouse. Opened out on the central area to leave a former upstairs room as what now looks like a mezzanine. On the other side of the stairs, there is a very unusual arrangement whereby the open kitchen is at first-floor level overlooking the bar. Relatively plain furniture and light decor as you would expect. Surprisingly pedestrian choice of real ales from three of four handpumps - Greene King IPA, Doom Bar and Old Golden Hen (£3.60) - but a fair selection of craft beers from the keg taps and a decent range of bottled offerings also available.
