Alan Winfield left this review about The Heathcote Arms

The Heathcote Arms is easily missed as it is set above the main road through the village.
This is quite a nice looking pub and once inside there was a smallish room at the front which had the bar in it,this room was quite smart and comfortable with bench seating and small stools this room was carpeted, there was also a small room to the rear which had tall stools in it,there was a seperate dining room to the right.
At the back of the pub there was a indoor long alley skittle room.
The landlord who had only been in the pub a short while said they did meals at lunch time which was all home cooked using local produce.
This pub is an Everards tied house and there were five real ales on the bar i had a drink of Everards Beacon bitter and this was a very nice drink the other beers were Everards Tiger bitter, Original and a seasonal called Equinox there was also one guest beer this was London Pride.
This was a really nice pub to have a few drinks in.
