Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Running Horses

Decent community pub, with 80s furniture and decor in the main bar, pool area and side room where the dartboard can be found. Two of the three handpumps were in use when I visited, offering Robinson's Unicorn and Timothy Taylor's Golden Best (£3.30), although the cantilever sign outside mentions the Marston's Pub Co?

Brainy Pool left this review about The Running Horses

though not exactly salubrious, this is a really friendly down to earth northern local. Broken out into one large room with a projector screen showing TV sport, as well as a darts board and pool table on one side. It has the feeling of a very well run social club inside. The real ale selection is always a couple of Marstons staples plus a guest, which on my last visit was a tasty George Wright's Cheeky Pheasant.
