one of those Greene King meet and eat pubs on a junction of two busy roads into Ashton centre. it's probably not worth risking your life crossing the road for, but is one of the better pubs in town. it's a pleasant enough if generic modern pub inside. there were a few in this afternoon but in truth it had the atmosphere of a morgue. GKIPA and Abbott on two of three handpumps, risked a half of the latter and as usual tasted of nothing.
