Described below, this has an entrance-facing bar, with dining in a rectangular room to the left of the bar (the interior is L-shaped) with a 'hidden' door to the toilets to the bar's right a la The Catherine Wheel in Goring (although mind the step!). Three local ales in the form of XT 4, Rebellion Roasted Nuts (slightly out of season for May) and a Rebellion one-off named 'Angel' (for Florence Nightingale) which came in at an eye-watering £4.20 for a pint's worth. One expects the prices here and at the Lion are more to do with the location of Waddesdon Manor, so would be worth a revisit in the Winter months to see if the policy is year-long.

Formerly the Bell, this roadside pub has been refurbished in gastropub style, with stripped down walls, dark paintwork etc. Mainly open plan spread around one bar, with a dining area and various odd corners. Tealights in jamjars are placed on the tables, with various motley decorations including neon lights adding to a slightly random effect. Some good and changing ales on offer, including several from Rebellion at time of visit and seemed well-kept - Cask Marque listed. Food appears to be tapas style. Jazz band on Tuesdays.
