this ancient locals pub has finally now changed its real offering after years of being Lancaster beers only. Dizzy Blonde and Bishops Finger are the current offering at £2.50 a pint, and always well kept in my experience. It's still a really nice place with a traditional layout including a couple of rooms around the bar, a 'posh'(ish) area and a pool room, plus function room upstairs. there's also a heated beer garden overlooking a bowling green. Probably the busiest and liveliest pub in Billinge for all age groups and well worth a visit.

A good old stone built pub. One of 3 very close to each other. Real ale available.

Food served from a real kitchen, no microwave warm ups. staff very friendly, real ale is served and the prices of all drinks and food, it can be said, are more than generous. The pub boasts a bowling green at the rear and a function room upstairs. All in all a great family friendly all rounder. Enjoy
