Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Delph Tavern
Fine old community pub, just over the border in the parish of Up Holland but very much attached to Orrell. The interior must have been modernised a few decades ago, and although it now looks a bit dated, all is well maintained. Food is also available, and a pool table can be found in the back room. I found four of the five handpumps in use, offering Landlord, Moorhouses White Witch, the EPA from Cross Bay (£3.10) and Fyne Ales Jarl.

foody (but not foody) pub in a quiet part of Orrell. the interior is stuck in a bit of a timewarp, but good beer and friendly clientele so worth a visit.

The Delph Tavern is situated in Tontine just outside Orrell and is a community pub that seems to cater for all ages.The pub offers home cooked food and on my visit had 5 interesting local casks all at reasonable prices.The décor might be a little 1980's but thought the pub was ok.
