Fairly basic 2 roomer close to the centre of Whitworth. The room to the right has a pool table, quiz machine and a pinball machine. The room to the left is smaller and is mainly aimed at conversation. There were 3 beers available on my visit but there are more handpumps. I had a pint of Timothy Taylors Best Bitter which was OK, but by no means the best kept pint I've ever had. The mainly young clientele were a bit noisy & sweary and I had to fight my way though several nicotine bouncers who were blocking the steps just to get into the place. It's an OK pub, but not one I'll use on a regular basis, although I may call in to have a game of pinball occasionally.
