This pub is no longer a Thwaites house, it's now a free house but doesn't sell any cask ale. I called in for the first time in over 20 years on Friday. This used to be one of the pubs I played darts in lots of years ago. There's a small lounge area with a TV & quiz machine to the left and a room with a pool table to the right. It looks unloved and a bit neglected from the outside and nothing changes on the inside. It's a bit of a sad place really. I had a pint of Carling !!!!! and won £3 on the quiz machine. I doubt that I'll ever call in again.
