Real Ale Ray left this review about Corporation Arms

A large stone built roadside pub with an equally large carpark. I found the interior to be quite soulless for such an attractive looking pub from the outside. Someone at some point, maybe in the mid nineties, had decided to venture in here and rip the guts out of this historical building. The walls are predominantly painted in peach, carpeted throughout and the dining chairs are those horrible high backed brown leatherette chairs, that may be comfortable, but look hideous and dated.
The best part of the pub is in the right hand corner, where the bar is located along with bay window and a small back room with French doors. One other feature left intact was the cask iron cooker, situated near the kitchen. Four pumps with three on, Recoil Brewery Boom Slang, Saltaire Blonde and Marston's Fever Pitch. I went for the Boom Slang, which was decent.

Great food.
Great real ale.
Superb relaxed feel to the pub.
Friendly staff.

Cannot fault the place at all. Just wish I didn't live 12 miles away.
