town centre pub with a bizarre psychedelic Queen Elizabeth head for a pub sign. Inside it’s ok if a little bland, and at least had a proper pub atmosphere on a Wednesday night. It’s better than some others in the town. Sadly the Abbotts ale was dull dishwater.

A traditional style town centre pub. 4 areas to sit with a room on either side of the main entrance. 4 handpumps dispensed national brand beers with their own beer called Queens Head by Tetley. A decent pub and friendly enough.

Found this pub very clean and very friendly had a few pints before we carried on our tour of Ormskirk

Traditional multi roomed town centre local with which on entry the bar faces you and rooms to both the left and right with a rather cluttered area to the left of the bar which had various pieces of DJ equipment and lots of cardboard crisp boxes.The barmaid was friendly enough and with a bonus of 5 cask beers to go at, made it quite a pleasant half hour
