Have visited this pub for some ten years while staying at Thurnham hall. It is warm, welcoming and comfortable. It serves quality cask ales and traditional pub grub, the pies are home made.
Will be there again this coming December.

This is my no1 pub in LANCASTER.We go here at least once a month and are always pleased with cask beers which change weekly and are always on top form.Food is served at lunchtime and early evening and is of a high standard,well worth calling when in Lancaster.
