According to the locals in the Engineers this has closed and is to be something else. On walking past it was indeed closed.

Possibly the best looking pub in Heywood at the moment. 3 small comfortable rooms, all nicely decorated. A large TV in each room. The rear room has a dart board as well. There is a handpump on the bar, but it doesn't look as if it's ever in use. As there was no real ale I just had a half of lager. It's a pleasant pub, but I had to move on to find some decent beer.

a pub at other end of heywood recently been improved inside and always a nice pint good memories in here 1 of my top 5 pubs in heywood for sure.
